We are Thankful<\/b><\/h3>\n

President and CEO,\u00a0Bill Emerson<\/a>, announces\u00a0Denise Tocco<\/a>, Director of the Administrative Division, is retiring after more than three decades with Emerson Group.\u00a0 \u201cDenise has been an integral part in the growth of Emerson Group since she started back in 1992.\u00a0 To say we will miss Denise, her infectious laugh and incredible work ethic, is an understatement.\u00a0 Our tag line is Recruiting to Culture, and having a team member stay with us for almost 32 years is a wonderful testament to that and her compassion for her job.\u201d<\/p>\n

Together, Denise and Emerson Group have experienced tremendous growth and success.\u00a0 Even through recessions they have persevered and come out stronger than ever. The thousands of candidates and hundreds of companies Denise has helped over the years is truly remarkable!<\/p>\n

Bill continued, \u201cI can honestly say I\u2019m humbled and grateful to have worked with Denise all these years and we truly would not be who we are today without her.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although Denise will be sorely missed, the Administrative Division, which includes\u00a0Judey Napoli<\/a>,\u00a0Sue Whelan<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Loretta Bruno<\/a>, will continue to serve both candidates and clients in the same honest, friendly and compassionate way as Denise did for 32 years and Emerson has for 52 years.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Beginning<\/h3>\n

Denise interviewed with founding owner Annette Emerson, in 1992 when the firm was still a Dunhill Franchise.\u00a0 As a mother of two young children, Denise wanted to work part time but Annette didn\u2019t have anything that would fit her schedule.\u00a0\u00a0 A day later, liking Denise so much, Annette called her back to be their bookkeeper and worked around Denise\u2019s availability.\u00a0 Denise said, \u201cI have fond memories of working with Annette and Skip Emerson. They were the heart of the company, and I\u00a0learned so much those first few years.\u201d<\/p>\n

Denise quickly moved up to Production Assistant, and after two years she moved on to Service Coordinator before developing into her eventual role of Recruiter, which has been her true passion.\u00a0 She will miss her work at Emerson, but even more so, she will miss her Emerson Team family.<\/p>\n

Denise\u2019s Last Day<\/h3>\n

Denise\u2019s official last day will be Friday, May 5th<\/sup>.\u00a0 \u201cIt\u2019s bittersweet leaving Emerson,\u201d Denise said. \u201cI\u2019m looking forward to spending more time with my family, grandchildren and traveling, but I will miss the team here, and our wonderful clients and candidates. It\u2019s become generational to me now. I\u2019m getting calls from adult children of the parents I\u2019ve helped place. It\u2019s been a very rewarding career and I wouldn\u2019t change a thing.\u201d<\/p>\n
