Emerson Group is honored to announce that one of their own has been chosen as an\u00a0American Staffing Association<\/a>\u00a0(ASA) staffing employee of the Year All-Star!\u00a0 There are five Industry Sectors and Emerson Group\u2019s, Laura Line, was chosen in the Office-Clerical and Administrative Sector.<\/p>\n

Bill Emerson<\/a>,\u00a0President of Emerson Group, said \u201cwe are thrilled that one of our own was recognized nationally by ASA. We are happy for Laura and all her accomplishments. Over the years we watched her grow both personally and professionally.\u201d\u00a0 Bill continued, \u201cOur Core Purpose is to Help Others Become More Successful and although sad for us, we were happy when Laura recently moved on to an HR Assistant role with another company.\u00a0 This is a great celebration, especially as we\u00a0approach our 50th year in business.\u201d<\/p>\n

Laura Line<\/strong><\/h3>\n

American Staffing Association posted this, about Laura, on September 14th:<\/p>\n

When Line first joined her staffing agency, \u00a0Emerson Group<\/a>, five years ago, she was a single mom and needed the schedule flexibility and work\u2013life balance staffing offers to address her son\u2019s needs.\u00a0 She was hired as a temporary Receptionist at Emerson Group corporate headquarters.\u00a0 Immediately, Line\u2019s kindness and patience with others stood out\u2014especially with nervous candidates visiting the staffing company for an interview.<\/em><\/p>\n

Due to her excellent work and attitude, she was promoted to a temporary Production Assistant role with Emerson and then bridged to a permanent role as Administrative Assistant.\u00a0 During her tenure at Emerson, Line was able to take online classes in Business Administration and got married.\u00a0 In fact, Line and her wife recently purchased their first home together.\u00a0 Staffing changed Line\u2019s life for the better by providing desired flexibility to care for her young son and opportunities to grow as a professional by gaining new skill sets and confidence.<\/em><\/p>\n
