From pulling weeds at Xerox to placing high level executive assistants, Emerson Personnel Group (EPG) has filled many different positions through their forty years of service. \u201cThe most important things were always honesty, caring about our clients and candidates, and working hard,\u201d says Annette Emerson. Skip and Annette Emerson are the founders of the namesake employment agency.<\/p>\n
EPG began its journey in 1971 as a Dunhill franchise. \u201cWhen we started out, we each had a desk, a phone, and a Yellow Pages phone book. I would make 50 calls a day. It was just gut work,\u201d remarks Annette. In 2001, the Emerson family decided it was time to become independent and the reformed business was named Emerson Personnel Group. Through the years, Emerson Personnel Group has grown into one of South Jersey\u2019s most trusted employment agencies.<\/p>\n

To observe this landmark anniversary, Emerson hosted a seminar and cocktail party for clients and friends. The fortieth anniversary celebration, held at Mount Laurel\u2019s Enterprise Center on Wednesday, November 30th<\/sup>, 2011 drew many guests. Attendees enjoyed an evening that included an employment law seminar by Lou Lessig of Brown & Connery, LLP, a lovely reception catered by Flik Conference Centers and entertainment by Bryan McCabe.<\/p>\n Some guests remarked on their relationship with the Emerson\u2019s over the years.<\/p>\n \u201cAs I met and spoke with the other Emerson clients it was very evident that everyone feels as I do, that Emerson treats each one of us as though we are their most important customer.\u00a0 It speaks well for the organization,\u201d stated Carol Adams, National Sales Manager for Franklin Machine Products.<\/p>\n Leanne Cindea, of Laurel Benefits also commented, \u201cCongrats EPG on forty successful years of business!
